Pat Gohn

This retreat day explores ways to deepen our relationship with the Church, and our relationship with God. At its core, the Church is all about communion with Christ and one another. Yet many people may struggle with one or the other. They want to be spiritual – belonging to God, but don’t often see the value of being religious – belonging to the Church. Some people love the church, but they long to go deeper with God. The talks during the day will give you a greater appreciation for both,  shining light on the richness and treasures of our faith. Discover or rediscover how faith gives meaning to everything in life.

Pat Gohn is award-winner author, whose most recent book is All In: Why Belonging to the Church Matters. She is also the editor of Catechist magazine, and contributor to many other publications. She is the host of the Among Women podcast, with over 200 episodes, and holds a Masters in theology, plus certificates in adult faith leadership and spiritual direction. She is a married empty-nester who lives and works in Massachusetts. Pat spoke at our women’s conference in 2015.

Once again, we look forward to the addition of the beautiful group of young women from St. Vincent’s in Fort Wayne, Filiae, (the name means “Daughters of the Lord”) who will provide us with live music.
